Richmar Realty &
Development Company is an excellent example of what
can be accomplished without exclusively using standard
catalog products. Being a developer Richmar had certain
design criteria in mind. Custom features included credenzas
that spanned the length of the credenza wall. A standard
credenza is approximately 24” deep but Richmar
required a 30” deep credenza to support documents
and drawings. Each credenza also housed a built in fire-proof
file that is hidden behind receding doors when not in
use.
To add to the beauty and customization of this unique
space a custom designed reception station with inlaid
glass blocks was created to give the reception area
a brilliant but inviting focal point for the visitor.
In the conference room a buffet credenza used a customer
selected piece of “Absolute Black” granite
that was inlaid into the top. This granite was also
carried through on the top surface of the reception
station, as well as the custom wet bar in the executive
office.
The project was a success providing unique, functional
and beautiful solutions. All furnishings were provided
through Interiors for Business, Inc.
